Highlights:
- This morning in Math, we worked with a variety of coins to skip count an amount in cents. Ask me to show you a combination of coins I can use to make 84 cents.
- For PE, we played Newton Ball! Ask me what this game included and how it combines the skills we have been working on.
- During Literacy, we reviewed the expectations for what our writing should include. We will add to this checklist as we learn new skills throughout the year. We then wrote about our strong emotion memory that we planned yesterday.
- In Science, we did a fun demonstration showing the states of matter. Ask me how an ice cream float shows all 3!
- For Wellness Wednesday, we talked about the importance of our words and how it connects to what we say to others. Ask me what the 10 second rule is and how we can use this when commenting about others.
- We had our first lockdown practice today. Everyone did wonderful! Ask me what the 3 S's are for lockdown.
