Highlights:

• This morning in Literacy, we continued working on our show, don't tell writing. We created a plan for a memory that we have a strong emotion attached to. Ask me what was my emotion and the memory I picked. 

• For Music, we played the game Pass the Witches Broomstick. Ask me to sing the song for you.

• During Math, we practiced skip counting forwards AND backwards by 3's, 4's, and 25's. Ask me to complete the patterns below:
• Start at 23 and count forwards by 3
• Start at 45 and count backwards by 4
• Fill in the missing numbers: 75, _____, _______, 125, 150, _______
• In Social Studies, we completed our classroom or bedroom maps. 

• For Thoughtful Tuesday, in the spirit of Thanksgiving we wrote on sticky notes a thank you to an adult in the building. Ask me who I wrote to and what I included in the message. 

Reminders:

• Photo orders were sent home today. If you are interested in ordering please do so by Oct. 22. If you would like your child to have retakes, please indicate so on the form.
• Wednesday is the School Council meeting. The Grade 4 and 5 teachers along with Miss. White will be presenting at this meeting.
