 Highlights:

• This morning, we had our reading rotations. Ask me what stations I did today!
• In Literacy, we reviewed the digraphs "ph" and "wh". Ask me what sounds they make and to give you an example of a word that uses them. 
• For P.E., we played Freedom Frenzy! Ask me what activites we did today.
• During Field Study, we created a map to show the different surroundings in each direction. Ask me to tell you about the different things in each direction.

• There is no school Monday October 14. Have a great long weekend!

IMPORTANT | Help Still Needed on October 19 or October 20

Next weekend on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20 are the dates we were given for our Casino Fundraiser. We still have five spots that are not filled.  If we cannot fill all volunteer slots, the Casino cancels our fundraiser and we are not permitted to apply for another 18 months…which would put us to another three years before another opportunity arises.  With this opportunity giving us over $70 000, it is critical that we fill the spots so we get the money!  If you, or your family / friends, are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
