- This morning in Math, we continued to review reading large numbers and also expanding them into each place value. Ask me to read the following numbers or write them in standard form,
- 34, 896
- Fourty four thousand two hundred seventy five
- 89, 042
- For Music, we practiced our song that we will be singing for Remembrance Day.
- During Literacy, we used our web to create our gourd/pumpkin writing. We had to turn our ideas into complete sentences with description. Ask me what I included in my writing.
- In Social Studies, we discussed our needs and wants. We also started to learn about what quality of life means and the things that help us to have a good quality of life. Ask me what is something that helps us and an example.
- For Health, we learned about triggers and sparks that may cause us to feel less regulated. Ask me what the difference is between the two and for examples of mine. Below is a concept sheet that families can refer to when talking about this topic!
Reminders:
- Thursday is Orange and Black Day. Students are welcome to dress in orange or black. They are also welcome to wear a costume if they wish. No masks or accessories. Students costumes should not interfere with their learning. If students want to wear their regular clothes, they can do so too!
- Picture Retakes are on Nov. 5.
